USCCA Membership Cost and Membership Levels (Updated 2022)

How Much Does a USCCA Membership cost?

USCCA Member concealed carrying a handgun

USCCA offers 3 levels of Membership. This article will explain and compare the costs and benefits between the Gold, Platinum and Elite Memberships

Each level has a different membership price and offers different benefits. There is a considerable discount available for a spouse membership and the cost is shown below.

If you want to know more about the USCCA, who they are and what they do, see my article: Concealed Carry Insurance Coverage and Legal Protection.

USCCA Membership Cost

Below is a breakdown of the USCCA Membership cost and discount for each level and what is included with your membership. USCCA Memberships costs are:

  • Gold Membership Cost is $29 monthly or $299 annually. (Annual discount of $49)
  • Platinum Membership Cost is $39 monthly or $399 annually. (Annual discount of $69)
  • Elite Membership Cost is $49 monthly or $499 annually. (Annual discount of $89)

USCCA vs. Firearms Legal Protection (FLP)

FLP (Firearms Legal Protection) is a less expensive alternative to the USCCA Membership. FLP does not provide the level of training that is found in a USCCA membership, rather they provide UNCAPPED legal defense insurance to fight for your freedom after a self defense event using a firearm.

FLP Membership starts at just $9.95 Per Month (Use the Link Below for the discount)

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is FLP_Logo_Full_Color_Transparent.png

See Firearms Legal Protection Cost & Plans

The rates are considerably less than USCCA as their primary focus is on providing legal services. Check them out at the link below.

USCCA Lifetime Membership

The USCCA does not offer a lifetime membership at this time. The cost of a USCCA Lifetime Membership would be extremely expensive and would just be cost prohibitive to offer such a membership.

Military and Veteran Discount

The USCCA is proud to offer a military and Veteran discount on all memberships. After you activate your membership through the Membership Page, simply send an email or open a chat with a friendly USCCA support specialist and they will apply your 10% Military Discount. Thank you for your service!

USCCA Spouse Membership Cost

Spouse Discount

USCCA Spouse discount for Marriage partner

There is a discount for spouse coverage. If you have a membership, you can add your spouse at a significant discount. The current pricing is below.

**Please note that a spouse would automatically be covered if a firearm (or other legally possessed weapon) is used in self defense while the spouse is “in or on the residence property” of the member. This applies to other relatives of the member and persons under 21 that are in the care of the member.

The USCCA offers a generous spouse discount for each membership level.

Cost of Spouse Membership:

  • Elite Level $24 per month ($249 per year)
  • Platinum Level $19 per month ($199 per year)
  • Gold Level $14 per month ($149 per year)

Firearms Legal Protection

from $9.95/month

Firearms Legal Protection Discounted Rates

FLP is highly regarded and recommended by some of the top names in the self defense firearms industry. Be sure to check them out before you make a decision.

I recently joined at the Platinum Membership level, (membership fee is $39/month) and added my wife to the account for only $19 more per month. I think I got a great deal, and the information that was immediately available to me is priceless! If you have any questions at all about the membership, ask in the comment section and I will answer usually within 24 hours.

Gold vs Platinum vs Elite Memberships

See the entire comparison chart with all the benefits listed for each Membership level here.

All memberships are now protected up to $2,000,000 Self Defense Liability and Claims Expenses and Damages* as well as $250,000 Self Defense Liability for Defense Expenses*.

**Update February 2022: No Limit Defense Expenses

Defense Expenses Incurred in the Defense of a Civil or Criminal Proceeding or Investigation are Paid in Addition to the Limit of Liability for Covered Occurrences

This is a significant increase if you are considering the Platinum or Gold levels. A ton of additional training has been added as well!

The USCCA membership fee includes all the following benefits regardless of the level you select:

**Update 10/15/20. USCCA has just increased the training and education benefits on all levels and added the new USCCA Protector Academy.

  1. Hi Dave; Congratulation on your braveness, to be carrying a Firearm for fifteen years. Do you ever have a reason to discharge your weapon, outside of practising on the firing range? The monthly and yearly fees for all three categories are reasonable. I believe that the price is excellent with all that is covered in each package.

    • DorcasW, Thank you for visiting my site and leaving a comment. Fortunately, I have not had to draw or use my firearm in 15 years outside of my regular practice sessions. Having a Membership with USCCA certainly gives me peace of mind as well as access to tons of great training material at a reasonable cost.

Carrying it has become a habit, so it is just something I do every time I go out of the house. Having the USCCA insurance coverage gives me a peace of mind that I will not be alone should I need to use deadly force to protect myself or my family!

  7. This is a very good discussion that you have made here on the USCCA membership levels and also explaining how much we have to pay per month consequently. I have been looking for a good legal backing that I could use just whenever the need arises. I don’t understand the part of the training that you mentioned here in the post though. Can you shed more light on that?

    Reply
    • Payton, thanks for stopping by and reading my article on USCCA memberships. The training I mention is offered by USCCA when you purchase a membership at any level. The Elite level provides the most training. The training is offered in video format and covers topics such as Developing a Home Defense Plan, Situational Awareness (how to avoid a problem), Surviving a Car Jacking, How to Choose the Right Firearm, and too many more to list here.

Since I joined, I try to watch a few videos a week and I keep learning more each time.

While I’m not  veteran myself, most of my family members are active or retired veterans. I’ve also never fired a gun. I can put them together and take them a part, but I’ve never actually fired one. I hope to one day receive training, so this was definitely an interesting find to come across. Thank you for the article.

If you are serious about concealed carry and home defense and are able to afford it, you will not be disappointed! And remember, there is a 364 day guarantee, so you have plenty of time to decide if a USCCA Membership is something beneficial to you and your family.

The cost seems reasonable for what you get, especially with the 3 different levels available. It’s amazing to me that in the 21st century, people don’t have a lot of information about life-saving information. I hope that as many people as possible will see this offer so that those who need it will know who to turn to.

  16. Thank you for your post. It is a timely article for me. I just bought a gun and there are a lot of questions on owning a gun. Of course, I bought the gun and intend to self-defense. I agree with you that there’s a chance I will make a choice that land me in jail (or worse).

I definitely need to prevent this from happening. I need to have training and programming into my mind so I can respond quickly, confidently, and legally. It is clear to me that the U.S. Concealed Carry Association is all about helping people make informed decisions and is a sure place for to be in. I am going to join it.

  21. Thank you so much for putting together such a well-written article! I love the concept of USCCA and I stumbled across your page by chance. I am glad that I did! When I took my CCP the instructor made a point to tell us that every trigger pull could be equivocated to a minimum of $10k. That’s something to think about when you’re considering whether or not to engage in a situation! Especially in the day that we are living in, I firmly believe that every Concealed Carry Permit Holder NEEDS the protection of this association, and the education that they offer really can save what’s left of your life in the event that you ever have to pull the trigger to defend yourself or someone else. When we really consider what is being offered here, skip the daily Starbucks and protect yourself from the worst! Thanks again for putting this information together so that people can be well informed!
